For thousands of years, the clear evening and night sky, with its sparkling stars, has fascinated people all over the world. It has always served as a tool for temporal and spatial orientation, but it also immortalizes mystical legends in the firmament, as people have created stories and myths about the possible origins of the striking constellations.

The history of many constellations we still recognize today dates back to ancient Egypt, Babylon, Greece, and the Roman Empire. In the fables surrounding these celestial formations, deities, monsters, and fantastic mythical creatures take center stage. The tales are filled with tragic love stories, betrayal, and adventure. We encounter magical objects, enchanted beings, and impressive creatures. They have endured for millennia – whether it’s Andromeda, Cassiopeia, Pegasus, Hercules, or Orpheus searching for his beloved Eurydice.
